Calumet Kiwanis (the Kiwanis Clubs of Highland, Munster and Woodmar-Hammond) announces their Second Annual Luau to benefit children’s charities on Sunday, July 27, 2008, from 1 to 5 pm, at the Pavilion in Wicker Memorial Park, Highland, IN

The Luau promises to be a blast of family fun, including food, drinks, prizes, games and beach party music led by a professional DJ. Admissions to Wicker Park’s Splash Pad will be available on a first come, first serve basis. In addition to free hula dance lessons, there will be contests, children’s games, a moonwalk and a balloon splash.

Members of Calumet Kiwanis are selling raffle tickets for a drawing at the Luau. Prizes include an original wood-crafted United States quarter board, Chicago White Sox tickets, 2 Indiana University Football tickets with parking pass, 4 tickets to a RailCats game, a $250 auto-detailing package donated by Collision Revision of Munster, and a complete Cornhole game set.

The $5.00 Luau tickets include admission and lunch. Second helping (extra food) tickets will be sold at the Luau. Raffle tickets are $2.00 each, or 3 for $5.00.
